South Florida Make A Wish – Al Malnik
At the 21st Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball held in 2015, over $2.25 million was raised for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, which aims at helping children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting their wishes. The Ball was hosted by Shareef Malnik, the Ball Chairman, and Gabrielle Anwar, who was the celebrity emcee at the event, and featured a performance of the six-time Grammy Award-winning entertainer, Marc Anthony. More than 850 VIPs attended the Ancient Greece mythology-themed occasion among which were Al and Nancy Malnik, Norm Wedderburn, Bob and Alysia Press, Romero Britto, Katherine Fernandez-Rundle, Michael Capponi, Donald and Lisa Pliner, and others.
